Danielle Stevens

On the mic.

Dani brings musical enthusiasm, practical theater explanations and a soft spot for a number that pulls out all the stops. High School Musical, Wicked and Moulin Rouge get her affection; the musical Cats gets less mercy. She gives the hosts’ teasing right back, adds punch lines to absurd pitches and rates in “Broadway stars.” Loving the spectacle doesn’t stop her questioning the story, proposing a rewrite or admitting when she’s mixed up a detail.
