Ending or payoff: A chat with Bradway. Activity description: Welcome to Reverse Psychology, the Fraser Rewatch podcast where we go backwards through every episode of the show. Tonight, we are covering Season 11, Episode 1, No Sex Please, We're Skittish, which originally aired on September 23rd, 2003. Is this the introduction of Julia, or has she been a recurring character this whole time? We'll find out. I'm your host, Curtis Shuck. Joining me as always, it's our resident upside downer, it's Ryan. Hey Curtis, no podcast please. I'm a little skittish. I'm also excited to be here. Thank you. I appreciate that enthusiasm. Also with us is our No Sex Bradley Kirkson. Hey, all you cool cats and kittens, it's Bradley. And now you know why he's No Sex Bradley. Did you call yourself Bradley? Bradley! It's Bradley! What's up, Bradley? Hey! This is a character that's new, but I like it. I kind of like this voice too. Bradley, what's your favorite thing to do on a Friday night? Oh, I mean, obviously I'm a man of the Jewish faith. Really could not keep it going. Do your voice. Oh, oh, sorry! My favorite thing to do on a Friday night because I'm a man of faith and I'm a Jewish man is to celebrate Shabbat! I don't think this is the kid. I don't think the voice matches actual Bradley. You need to come up with a character that is worthy of that voice. He's riding around on motorcycles. Is Shabbat really your favorite activity on a Friday? Well, I'm going with the character because I don't actually celebrate Shabbat. That was the whole point! That was your idea? You thought that voice was a guy who was super committed to his faith? Yes! I work with a lot of Jews! This is not what I thought the Bradway character was going to be, but honestly, I'm here for it. He's like a rabbi who's like trying to be cool for the kids. Hey, kids, let's rap! If I keep doing this voice, I'm not going to have a voice tomorrow! Bradway, can you tell us how you relate to all the young kids? Yes, through the Jewish prayers and through the history of our religion, if it comes from the AD, oh God, the BC era and Holocaust and lots of fun things! That's how you relate to the kids? Why'd you say Holocaust and all of the fun things? I would shake Hitler's hand. Oh, you definitely had youth pastor vibes, Jewish youth pastor vibes. I don't know what you guys call them, but you had it right until you started going pro-Holocaust again. You got to stop doing that. It turns out, uh, Bradway is super Jewish and also kind of a Holocaust admirer. Uh, I'm going to change characters so I can do a voice and so I can kill my voice. You definitely have to change characters to one that's not so pro-Nazi. You created a character and within two minutes got him canceled. And we're not even popular enough to be canceled, but he was canceled. Bradway definitely got canceled. He is a monster. You know what, next time Fraser's being like his absolute worst, you need to bring back Bradway. Sounds good. I can do that. I can do anything. I love how out of breath you are. Oh, that took a lot of energy to do that voice. Oh, good. We're going to have quiet Brad the rest of the way. I think the next character I'll do maybe is like a stoner who talks very quietly. That would be, and slowly, that would be amazing. So you're not doing a character. No, I still talk. Even, even when I take my medicine, I still talk very fast. False. So, uh, before we dive into the episode and after we have whatever that was. A chat with Bradway. Final phrase attribution: Who asks Bradway his favorite Friday-night activity?: Ryan; Who asks Bradway how he relates to young people?: Ryan

Activity description: Hey everybody, a quick warning before this week's show. We do acknowledge the existence of Star Trek, so listener discretion is advised. Okay, now to this week's show. Welcome to Reverse Psychology, the Fraser Rewatch podcast where we go backwards through every episode of the show. Tonight we are covering season 11, episode 3, The Doctor is Out, which originally aired on September 30th, 2003. Is this episode's theme still funny or horrendously dated? We'll find out. I'm your host, Curtis Schack. With me as always, it's our resident upside downer, it's Ryan Sansone. Curtis, The Doctor may be out, but I am in and I'm thrilled to be here, as always. Also with us today is our confirmed bachelor, Bradley Kirkston. Curtis, The Doctor may be out, but the Kirkston is still in. Great. I like that for you. And today we welcome back to our show, a very special guest. It's my other brother, Kenny. Welcome back to the show. I like that I get other brother. I'm the first brother. Well, it's a major demotion. That's the meanest thing Curtis has said on this whole show. I'm like, other brother. If anything, you're the other brother. I started this whole thing. To be clear, I refer to both of you as the other brother when one of the other is on. No, no, no. He referred to, that's false. He referred to Ethan as the honorable Ethan Schick. I called him number one. You called him the golden child. He did. Ah, this is terrible. Don't worry. Don't worry, Kenny. We know Curtis is the other brother. Yeah, he absolutely is. I mean, let's face it. Let's face it. Well, now that we've thoroughly insulted Curt, he can move on. Yeah, Curtis, why'd you bring one of your more important family members on for that? What are we doing here? No, mom said no. Let's get your dad on an episode. Let's do that. Oh, man. I don't have the time to help him figure out how to get onto a podcast, guys. He'll probably have an easier time than me. Let's just, let's get him on. Every week. That is very true. Every single week. Well, Kenny, one of the reasons we brought you on today is because we know that you're a big Star Trek fan. And of course, the major guest star in this episode is Patrick Stewart, who's best known for his role on Star Trek, The Next Generation, Mott the Barber. I don't know if it's a good joke. Yeah. I don't know. This is a joke that Curt put in just for me. That's cool. If you tell anyone tonight, can you illuminate us? Mott the Barber is a character that was in like two episodes of Star Trek and is not Patrick Stewart. That's a bad joke. There is one episode where Captain Picard is caught. That's true. And he has to identify himself and he lies. My name is Mott. I'm the Barber. This is true. You know what? I regret asking. That's not interesting. Yeah. Then settle in, folks. It's going to be a very long night, isn't it?

Tonight, we are covering Season 11, Episode 6, I'm Listening, which originally aired on October 28, 2003. Is this when Ronnie starts going steady with Martin, only to basically disappear for the next six episodes? We'll find out. I'm your host, Curtis Schack. Joining me as always, it's our resident upside downer, Try and Sansone. Curtis, I'm excited to be here. I might even try listening tonight. Doubt it. Also with us today are Sheila Bradley Kirkston. And I might actually try to be able to be her tonight. Ooh. Also doubtful. Some novel ideas splitting about.

I'm your host, Curtis Schack. Joining me as always, our resident upside downer, it's Ryan Sansone. Curtis, I'm excited to see the Bee Gees here with you tonight as well. Great. And now on a more somber note, I'm tasked with the difficult obligation to in memoriam at the top of the show. We lost our frequent guest, Bradley Kirkston, this year. Why did I die? Oh, my. Bradley? Is that you? It's me. Also with us today, it's zombie Bradley Kirkston. What up, homies? I'm just as cool in zombie life as I am in real life. You don't have to actually sound like a zombie. Oh, I'm just being the characters. It was important. You don't have to be the character. Zombies don't talk. I just imagined it was going to go on for like a year or two. Yeah, you should have went, ugh. For the zombie voice. That's not a zombie voice. The robot voice. Maybe a little later, I'll sing a song in my zombie voice. Please. Well, we actually took last week off from recording the podcast. So, I thought before diving into the episode, I wanted to catch up with y'all. What did you use for your time off? What did you do? I can go first. A friend of mine from college came to visit. Anybody we know? Yes. That was me. What happened? You guys got to meet each other in person for the first time in forever? Yeah, it was fun. Was that the first time we saw each other since the pandemic? No, because we went to a wedding together. Okay. That sounds like we went as a couple. Well, we did. Didn't you guys kind of? Yeah, we saw you in a room. He picked me up. That is true. I guess that is true. We did kind of go as dates. Um, and you haven't seen each other since, but it did not go well. And yeah, we did not decide to continue the relationship. So what was it like seeing your ex? I would say, crucially, I brought my new boyfriend to Oh, rubbing it in to the hang. Yeah. And Curtis and I got really drunk on $13. Are you can drink mimosas? Oh my gosh, this was the most amazing thing we took us. So I was visiting him in his city and he took us to this restaurant for brunch and they had the bottomless mimosas thing. I've never in my life seen the price tag $13 for bottomless mimosas. How many mimosas did you guys have without bottoms? Eight? They were filling up halfway at one point. Like we drank a lot. And they were not, to be clear, most of them were like 90% champagne. These were not like watered down mimosas. That's fun. I haven't done a bottomless mimosa probably since the pandemic. Is it, did it slap where you guys, you guys were feeling it? It was great. The food was also very good. So that helps. I had to go on a bus to head back to New York City right after. And it was, it was good because you want to be toasted on a bus. But also it was bad because this bus, the one time it stopped, the bus station was closed. And so I, they, there was no bathroom. Ooh. Well, you're, you're a guy. You could just go pee anywhere. It's fine. Well, we were in the middle of a city. Like it was a little, a little weird. Yeah. Just dip into an alley. What do you mean? Like there was a tree, but we, we, the bus driver is very kind. And he, uh, made a special bus stop for me. Wait, wait, how many people were on this bus? I don't know. 20, 30. And what? So you go up to the front and you're like, excuse me, bus driver. I really need to pee. I think he saw frantically. I was looking for a bathroom at the bus station. And so he was just like, he made an announcement right after I'm going to, there was no bathroom here. So I'm going to go and stop at the nearest trust stop. I'm worried that this guy is going to pee in my bus. It's a valid concern. Again, a lot of mimosas. You wouldn't pee in the city, but you'd pee on a bus. Is that weird? Yeah. Priorities, man. Ryan, what about you? What, uh, what did you get up to this last week? Oh, I tried to go visit Dolly Parton herself. Whoa. Yeah. We, we drove down to Knoxville, Tennessee to go to Dollywood. Knocking around in Knoxville. Knocking around in Knoxville. I do not recommend. First of all, first of all, she wasn't even there. I don't think. That doesn't sound right. It takes forever to get into Dollywood. I don't know what they are doing. Dolly, we love you, but please, please fix the entrance to your park. Oh, we were in, we waited to get into the park for two hours. It was crazy. Did you have tickets added? Were you waiting in line to get tickets or just to get scanned into the park? Well, there's, there's many phases of waiting. We, we were in line just to get into the parking lot. Bro. In the parking lot, you go into, there's like a three lane highway that then turns into a like 10, 10 lane gate that then goes back to like a five lane because there's five different parking lots you can end up in. Uh, the signage isn't very good. And even if it was, it doesn't matter because you get stuck in these lanes anyway. Uh, it's just madness and chaos. You finally get to where you're going and then you have to wait in line to get on a train. Cause you're so far away from the actual park when you park. So they have these little like trams and you think like, maybe I'll just walk, but they don't have sidewalks. So there's like no feasible way to do that. You'd have to like go through traffic. It's crazy. Uh, and then you get down there and yeah, we still had to buy our tickets, bought our tickets and then still had to wait in line to get physically into the park. It was just crazy. I, when you said that, uh, physically into the park, I thought you were just going to say, so get our physical before we'd be allowed entry. I would have been way faster if we all just would have got physicals once you were inside. Was it a good park? I have no idea what happened in Dollywood. No, it's terrible. I mean, it's okay. So like it's a regular amusement park, but they put it like onto the side of a mountain. So everything's like really congested. And like, there's not a ton of bathrooms. There's not a ton of eating spots that you would hope. So like there's lines for everything that you could ever imagine. And there's like six rides cause it's a mountain. And no Dolly Parton. I don't think she was there. We, we, we yelled her name a lot, especially my daughter, but yeah, it was fine. We bought a great cowboy hat, cowgirl hat, I guess. Nice. I feel awkward about, uh, how, how bad of an experience you had because surprise, uh, Dolly Parton has a very substantial recurring role in Frasier. So in a couple of seasons, you're going to be seeing a lot of her. Although we still love Dolly. We just want her to fix her park tremendously. I think one way that she could help if there was $18 or if there was $13 bottomless mimosas, I would have been fine. For sure. You should have come to Baltimore, America's favorite city. Yeah. I'm not going to do that, but you know, I could have used mimosas. I love the beauty of the upside down is that you really, you might really be starting Dolly Parton. You'll be waiting for it. I'm excited about that. On that note, why don't we, uh, slip into the episode? Uh, why not? Yeah. Actually, there's a palate cleanser from Dollywood. Let's do it.
