WHAT THEY BROUGHT

Submission

My montage is a dream sequence.

More of this contribution
  • Important beats: A dream sequence where we see parallels between Rocky, Drago, Cree Jr., and Drago Jr. I think in this one, Michael B. Jordan is the one going up and down the Philadelphia, the rocky stairs. And then Drago is just sitting at the top, just watching the tourists. And then Drago ends up working out at the Philadelphia Eagles Stadium in Philly. The city of Philadelphia burns down. Because of their fans.
  • Answer qualification: I think the lighting in this dream sequence would be the sepia that, you know, that yellow tone to differentiate between why this is a dream and not reality. That's how I would differentiate.

Design choice

This is like Michael B. Jordan, you know, has a desk job and his, his whole thing is to be a boxer like his dad. But his mom in this reality is smart and doesn't let him because she gets the, she gets the fucking risk.

WHAT THEY BROUGHT

Submission

What I did was I, uh, I wrote some fanfic for Parks and Rec.

More of this contribution
  • Method: So like more of like a count rather than a progression.
  • Important beats: She offers them a reasonable raise and they go, look, we're very important to the city. So they want a huge raise and she's like, no, I've given you a reasonable raise. And as soon as she shuts the deal down, then Anne calls and basically says the exact same thing he does. And the montage is just people tripping throughout Pawnee.
  • Ending or payoff: By the end of it, people are like tripping off of bridges and stuff. And it's just a nightmare.
  • Answer qualification: Anne is her best friend. She's like, for some reason, Anne was doing the research here and she just calls.

WHAT THEY BROUGHT

Submission

And it is by Weird Al and it is called Hardware Store.

  • Response context: I bought some backer rod and some caulk and I filled the gap. A lot of trial and error.
  • Premise: And so I think my montage would be me going from a kind of weakling, incapable of doing anything with his hands, kind of a guy, you know, go from me watching the YouTube video to trying to do the thing.
  • Important beats: I'm going to have a tool belt and it's not going to fit. And I'll watch the video again and it'll look easy. And then I'll go do exactly what they said, but it just will not function even though I did exactly what they, like all of that will be in there.
  • Ending or payoff: It'll start with me struggling. I'll slowly get better and by the end of it, I will be on a roof completely redoing the whole roof by myself and there will be a beautiful drone shot of me being a success.

Context

A John is a person, place, thing, or idea. Yo, this John crazy.

More of this contribution
  • Question: Why have you chosen to go dream? What's a, what's a John? Use it in a sentence.
  • Important beats: Your Pawnee fanfic honestly sounds like a dream you have. The Pawnee gap fillers could have totally stepped in. Is this a midlife crisis that I'm hearing about?
