Turtle Tank
How this one works
How it works
- As every Rocky fan knows, Rocky Balboa famously owns a pair of pet turtles.
- They're a panel of elite cold-blooded investors, and you're standing before them asking for cold,
- hard cash.
- You haven't actually invented anything.
- Instead, you'll take something that's been around forever, something forgotten, underused,
- underappreciated, or simply taken for granted, and rebranded as if it were launching today.
- Give it a shiny new name, a modern marketing spin, and convince the turtles it's the next
- big thing.
- Once the investment round is complete, the turtles will have a chance to buzz in and guess
- what your product actually is.
Prompt
- Your mission is to pitch a revolutionary new business.
Scoring
- To earn a point for your pitch, at least two of three turtles must agree to invest.
- If the herd buys in, you score a point.
- If someone correctly identifies the original item, both the swimmer and the turtle who
- guessed it earn a point.
RESULT STATUS
A winner is actually on the record.
Winner: Katie
